Getting The Most From This Site
If you are in need of 'content' for your website, ezine, or other publication,
this is where you will find the sources that you should be looking at. Different types of
material, as well as various means of display, are included but the emphasis is on content authored for use on websites or in ezines. Most of all,
the focus is on canned content; in other words material that can be placed on your pages
using a simple copy and paste method. Much of it is free but there is also plenty that is
available for a fee. Everything is categorized as shown by the menu at left. To keep things as
simple as possible, most entries appear in only one category, even though some of their
material might also be appropriate for another. That's why we have installed a Search Page that allows you to find key words regardless of
categorization.

The Announcement Mailing List
All the resources listed are archived from the Announcement Mailing List 101 Content Answers. If you are a supplier of 'content'
for use on the Internet, whether for the World Wide Web or for another medium (such as ezine
content), you can announce your own resources, or
resources you have found, to our worldwide audience of people who have are looking for such
material. Without exception, all announcements must be about Internet resources (those
that have a URL such as a web address, an e-mail address, etc, as a means of contact) and must
be of interest to anyone looking for usable content; i.e. canned add-ons (usually) for
web pages, websites, e-zines etc. Making an announcement that gets mailed out on the 101 Content Answers mailing list is the best way to get a

How Resources Are Categorized
Categorizing resources is no easy task because so many sites cover more than one
facet of their particular field. In other words, many sites would qualify to be grouped under
more than one category if we allowed it. This kind of repetition, though, is undesirable from
our point of view because it bloats the directory and makes 'browsing' for resources more
difficult. For this reason we decided to include only one entry per site and to categorize them according to the main focus of the site, whatever that
might be. To overcome the problem of resources not being represented in other appropriate
categories we have incorporated simple Site Searching that allows you
to find 'key words' used in the brief site descriptions. However, if you believe a resource on
this site would be more appropriate if filed in a category other than the one we have used,
please let us know by writing to contact-us at
the domain* 101contentanswers.com with Wrong URL as the Subject.
How Resources Are Displayed
The left column menu shows the types of content available. Browse for resources
by clicking on the Categories Index, or click on one of the
sub-headers under it to see the resources in that 'theme'. Each resource is described by a short
text outline which includes another link to its actual World Wide Web site or email URL. Or you
can use the Search Facility (available from the same menu) to find any
'key' word(s) that appear in resource descriptions.
